WHO WE ARE

KALAM Trust is A Public Charitable Trust, Reg Under Indian Trust Act, working with the motto to uplift of Orphans, Speciallyabled and Poor talented children in our Surrounding Society. KALAM Trust was started by a group of friends on the social networking site Facebook in 17 JULY 2018 to involve the entire society to serve the needy. The focus of Trust members is to Full Fill the Needs of Needy. We cannot feed, supply, serves all of them in our Surroundings but we can serve up to we can. We do not possess any Special super Naturals forces, not Special Human Beings. We are just Common Human Beings that too Students. We do not get any funds or any other we serve them with our pocket money. We believe Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s idea that ‘Dreams are not what you see when you’re asleep. Dreams are those that don’t let you sleep’. The youth see powerful dreams for a better and brighter future of the nation in becoming a global economic powerhouse.

TRUST OBJECTIVES

• Visiting Orphanages, Abandoned Children Care Homes, Old age homes.
• Distributing needs like Books, Stationary Materials, Clothes and Useful things which are useful to them.
• Distributing Relief Material to Beggars.
• Began initiatives like organizing general awareness and Medical campaigns for children in Orphanages.
• We are going to celebrate their birthdays, our birthdays, January 1st, Independence Day, Republic Day and Many more Festivals with them.

What we do

The aims and objects of the Trust are to bring about people centered development process in any place situated in any part of the world and include the following:

• To help people by way of providing general Medical-Checkup Medicines, Blood Donation Camps, Eye Camp. To undertake Development activities disaster and emergency aid Family helper projects service for disabled /Cancer. To Establish Day care, Drop-in-Center, Community Care ,Support and counseling center for HIV/AIDS (Infected & Affected).Drug Addicts, High-risk and vulnerable population.
• To create, maintain and support need based and area specific community assets and services in the areas of: a) Education and Skill Development b) Health care and family welfare including Women empowerment c) Community works including works relating to drinking water, sanitation, irrigation, drainage, Water harvesting structures, Community halls, Libraries, etc. d) Rural development through Agriculture awareness for Bio fertilizers, Medicinal plants/ Water harvesting Bio Technology/ Science & Technology programmes. Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development
• The society aims at Protecting and promoting the welfare of the victims of natural calamities, domestic/social violence, drug addicts and alcoholics, the destitute and the discarded by organizing Counseling, short stay homes, rehabilitation centers, Old Age homes and other support services.
  
• To establish maintain and administer educational & skill development institutions like Academic. Technical Scientific, Engineering, Degree and Diploma courses, Model schools, Residential School and other Vocational and professional training courses top cater to the needs of the weaker sections in particular and other in general.
  The Society aims to Provide and organize Self Employment/ Vocational training Programmes which includes Tailoring, Handicrafts, Cot/Hand Embroidery, Jute Products/latest Innovative Technologies etc, for Urban/Rural Disadvantage Women and Youth.
  
• To promote empowerment of women and youth by mobilizing and organizing them into self help groups and by building their capacities through training, micro-finance development and by facilitating income generating activities, dissemination of appropriate technology and provision of marketing and other support.
• To implement donor specific projects, which are in consonance with, trust objects with an opportunity to the donors to directly participate in the implementation of the development schemes / Project.
• To draw up and develop model projects and schemes for execution of community works and services and implement the same with people’s participation giving priority to the less developed areas.
• To collect/receive funds, contributions, subscriptions, grants-in-aid, donations, endowments and assistance from individuals, national and international Institutions, agencies, organisations, business houses, Trusts, charities – for the attainment of trust objects.
• To collaborate with both Governmental and Non-Governmental Organisations, Trusts, charities and other bodies involved in Community development works and services.
• To do all such other things as the Trustees deem fit for achieving the objects of the Trust.

KALAM TRUST implemented the development projects and programmes in various places.

The mission and vision of KALAM TRUST is to develop the Rural poor people, students and prosper women Falk in the society through their capacity development and self-employment efforts.

The main objective of this trust is to mobilize instant relief and welfare services to the under privileged sections in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh in terms of health, environmental, educational welfare water shads and Rural development services. Since its inception the trust is rendering remarkable services in few villages of tanapalli, kutrapakam Mandals,srikakulam ,srisailam with commitment and devotion kalam trust is effectively contributing to govt schools, thitli cyclone, cultural programmes women’s empowerment awareness, education,free books distribution ,national day.
